Your continuous attention and care for the development of sports in Azerbaijan, including football, and the opportunities created for the development of sports clubs provide a great stimulus for such historic achievements and elevate our responsibility even further.
We will continue to strive diligently to represent our country honourably in Europe's most prestigious football tournament and to raise the name of Azerbaijani football even higher.
Ultimately, we learn from you the determination to fight until the end and to believe in victory. We draw strength and inspiration from you, the architect of the great victories of the Azerbaijani people.
Once again, we express our deep gratitude for the high attention you have shown on behalf of the Sabah Football Club," the statement emphasised.
It is worth noting that Sabah secured their place in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League by eliminating Israel's Hapoel (Beer Sheva) in the play-off round, with an aggregate score of 1:2, 5:2.
