The Azerbaijan women's national team, made up of under-20 players, competed in the B Division of the European Championship, playing their next match in Samokov, Bulgaria.

According to Offsideplus.az, our team, placed in Group A, faced the Albanian national team in the second round. The match concluded with our basketball players securing a victory by a margin of 28 points, finishing 88-60.

It is noteworthy that this is the first victory in the tournament's history for our U-20 team, which is making its debut in the European Championship. Our team had previously lost to Ireland in the first round (81-93). The basketball players will play their next match against Greece on July 6.
