"I want to start by thanking the fans who supported us throughout the season. We tried our best to make them happy," said Halil Atlı, head coach of Ganja Basketball Club.

As reported by Offsideplus.az, Atlı shared his thoughts after Ganja was eliminated from the Azerbaijan Basketball League playoffs, following their loss to Shaki in the third game of the playoff series.

Although Ganja failed to reach the semifinals, the Turkish coach expressed his gratitude to everyone involved:
"When I arrived, Ganja was a city somewhat distant from basketball. But during this season, I saw a team that managed to win the hearts of the people again. On a personal note, I’m very happy with the team I built. I’m thankful to my players for their character and fighting spirit. They never caused me any problems. I’d also like to thank the technical staff, my assistant coach, our manager, the medical team, and everyone who supported us."

Atlı emphasized that the team met its goals for the season:
"Our aim was to do something meaningful for Ganja. Looking back, I see a team that reached the cup final and qualified for the playoffs. When I first arrived, our initial target was simply to reach the playoffs again — and we succeeded. I sincerely ask for the forgiveness of all our fans. As a coach, I did my very best. We constantly thought about how to overcome challenges and improve the work we were doing. I also want to thank the federation's leadership for giving us the resources to perform our duties properly."
