"Araz-Nakhchivan" club, which continues its preparations for the UEFA Champions League, has strengthened its team with a new futsal player.

Offsideplus.az reports with reference to the press service of the club that the "red-whites" signed a contract with Ilham Aliyev, a young member of the national team.

The futsal player will spend the upcoming season in the team of the champion.

The futsal player, who appeared for the first time this year in a friendly match with the Georgian national team in Tbilisi, has previously worn the uniform of U-19.

It should be noted that the club transferred Brazilian Cadinho, Caique Aledes De Oliveira (both "Jetisu", Kazakhstan) and Serbian Lazar Milosavljevic (Crnica, Croatia). The national champion, who signed new deals with Amadeu and Lucas Romao, parted ways with Milos Todoric, Diogo Augusto and Andre Junior. Mahammad Abbasov and goalkeeper Azer Farmanov went to military service.
