Offsideplus.az reports that AFFA executive vice-president Sarkhan Hajiyev, Carlsberg Azerbaijan CEO Alius Antulis, company officials, football players and media representatives took part in the event.

According to the contract, "Khirdalan 0.0" non-alcoholic beer became the sponsor of the main national team. The company will act as a sponsor in the games of the national team, and at the same time, it will be a partner in various social campaigns that will contribute to the development of Azerbaijani football.

Alius Antulis, general director of Carlsberg Azerbaijan, spoke at the event and said that they will support Azerbaijani football with this sponsorship: "We are very happy with the cooperation that was established today with the A national team. "Khirdalan 0.0" is the first 0.0 alcohol beer produced in Azerbaijan from local barley, and we are proud to support the development of sports in our country with this quality product. Based on the priorities of AFFA, we will work together to increase the number of fans in stadiums, to strengthen the interest in football among young people, and to implement social projects. I believe that as a result of joint steps, we will be able to make a great contribution to Azerbaijani football in a short time."

AFFA executive vice-president Sarkhan Hajiyev said that he believes that both sides will benefit from this cooperation: "We are living one of the significant days for Azerbaijani football. After that, "Khirdalan 0.0" beer of "Carlsberg Azerbaijan" will be one of the sponsors of our A national team consisting of men. A sponsorship agreement between AFFA and "Carlsberg Azerbaijan" was signed for four years, but the parties aim for long-term cooperation.
